I have Ruff Stuff Spec. DIY tie rod with GM ends and haven't had any problems. Didn't ream the knuckles either. Also clears my Solid dif. cover.

Haha. Based on feedback, most customers are shocked to see just how big it is in person. The logic in making it was to create something that was the last someone would ever have to buy. Bent tie rods are a massive hassle when you're gone somewhere far away for the weekend and need to drive home.

Dont discredit SteerSmarts (Power&sons). The company manufactures steering parts for JEEP, Ford and Chevy. Heres a quote i stole (edited out the competitors link) well known FYI
We ran a fatigue test on the YETI and ********** linkages. We mounted the linkages in fixtures fixing one end and applying a plus and minus load of 3,000 pounds on the other end. The ********** failed at under 80,000 cycles and we suspended the YETI test at 1,350,000 cycles. We then applied a 4,000 pound load to the YETI to see if we could get it to fail and finally we broke it after 750,000 cycles with the higher 4,000 lb. loads. Also, the YETI went WAY beyond 2 tons of pressure before it buckled. We test linkages all day in our test labs. We check tension, buckling, fatigue, vibration, stud pull ups studies, seal chamber testing, torque test and we have several of these test running all day and night.
