Dirt bike hitch?

I highly reccomend the "Ultimate MX Hauler".
Been using mine for 4 years now with no problems at all.
It lifts the bike up about 2 feet higher than those plank models and puts the weight close to the Jeep not hanging way out back. And yes I have a thing for supermotos.

It says its rated for 375lbs and i need 390-400. Also, How does the bike sit on there? seams like it would slide around?

I just spoke to a guy at Joe Hauler and he kinda killed my dreams here. I am new to towing so I need to find out what is accurate. I have the Rugged Ridge Hitch. I assume its the same as stock. this is what they say" Jeep: 3,500- lb tow rating, 350-lb tongue weight. The guy at Joe Hauler said I needed a minimum of 600 lbs tongue weight rating hitch.
Did I buy the wrong hitch? I might be missing something and if you feel like educating me it would be much appreciated.
The ramp weights roughly 80 lbs and my bike 390. so a total of 470-500 just to be safe. Can a Jeep tow this or no? What am I missing?

I was going to try this with my 09 kx450. It Worked fine with my traded in ford raptor, but it may be to heavy for the jeep hitch. But now selling the bike for parts for new jeep, so never actually tried it on the jeep hitch, good luck i was going to do it if i kept the bike..

Dont do it, unless the combined weight of the bike plus the carrier does NOT exceed the max tounge weight. most hitches for the JK are arround 350 lbs. most bikes wet weigh atleast that not counting the carrier. It might fit and even look cool but once ur cruising i70 and you look back 2 c ur MX boucing down the rockies u'll know what i mean. never exceed you max when towing our you will regret it. I have a buddy who had about $2K in damages from hauling a GXR the same way to KY and a total loss on the bike. On level ground no problem but when the weight starts to shift u will probably lose it. just get a trailer then you can haul all your gear too everyone driving behind you will appreciate it
All i know about towing is the math which is simple. I see other Jeeps towing lots of things, and figured a light bike would not be a problem. Can I get a tow hitch that is rated higher than 350? Or how do "others" do it?
I wish I had the space to keep a trailer, but for 2 cars in San Francisco I used to pay $850 for parking alone. I am sure that's close to a small house in the mid west

maybe its just me, but considering the weight of the bike, i would not run a hitch extension. its already about 300lbs as is, adding an extension is putting so much pressure on your hitch and increasing the possibility of breaking something

I have the hidden hitch at it is @ 350 TW I havent seen any better for the JK. They do have some nice grated trailers that are so light you can move em arround urself and even lay it on its side for storage. Northern tool makes a nice one with a solid ramp for abot $500

U will need a H/D hitch
I had a 3" custom installed and I load my DRZ400s and Yamaha 90 with NO problems. I worked up my suspension before I did the hitch so that it would NOT sag. Pull beautifully.
