Default DIE TECH EVAP RELOCATION..... Check engine light ON!!!!!

Anyone do this MOD with DieTech?? I did and about 4 days later my engine light came on. My friend ( jeep chryler tech over 20 years ) said this could be an issue for cutting the hoses. The intructions said to "ziptie" after install where cut. My thought is that there's obviously air leaks so today I put hose clamps on all areas cut (4 places)

So I'm asking for any advice or someone who has ecountered this problem. Thanks in advanced

Make sure you didn't reinstall the cannister upside down. Also, if you messed with the white thing that connects to the cannister, check the o-ring that goes between the two. If that's missing or twisted you'll get the light. If you're sure it's the lines, try some self fusing silicone tape underneath the hose clamps. h**p://www.amazon.com/Rescue-Tape-RP2567-Fusing-Silicone/dp/B000ZTM734

definitely clamp the hoses. drive your jeep for a while and assuming that the leak was coming from there, the light will go off in time or, if you want, disconnect your neg battery cable for about 15 min or so and that should clear the light too.

LOL!! well, if that doesn't do the trick, what seer1 said is pretty right on. if the o-ring between the white box and the evap is damaged or missing, that will trigger your light as well. i've been able to fix this problem with some simple rtv in the past.

Any pictures by chance of the finished product? I'm considering this (and other relocate kits). Any problems since?
