Does anyone know if the diameter of the hub flange changed from a 2007 or 2008 model to the 2014 model? I have a 2014 JK and I'm going through trials of getting 15" rims to fit. I know it's a well discussed issue, but I've seen people get the procomp 152 15x8 or 10 to fit a jk with no rubbing. I've tried the Black Rock 952 15x8 which I've heard is just a rebranded procomp. The black rock wheel will not sit flush against the hub flange, because another concenteric circle just outside the mounting surface circle actually extends farther toward the hub flange. So if you can imagine a cone with a flat top that is the mounting surface of the wheel, try taking a cylinder that is the hub flange, and larger than the flat top of the cone, and it will hit the inside wall before sitting flush. So as you tighten the lug nuts down it would just force the hub flange farther into the cone, but still never make it to flush mount against the rims surface.

I've looked an these rims look identical to me. Maybe there is something I don't see, or maybe the people I see verifying the fitment have smaller hub flanges than the 2014 does. Anyone seen something like this?

Also make sure the rotor assembly clips that are over the studs are not obstructing the wheel from sitting flush against hub face.

Thanks for the video, it has some good information in it. I'm actually looking for something different though. I need information on the hub flange, not the hub. The hub flange is getting in the way and hitting an extruded concentric circle around the circle of stud holes. I've never seen a hub that looks like it would flush mount to the back of this steel wheel, but I've seen older jks runnign them. I've seen TJs run them too with the 5on4.5 version instead of the 5on5 but the extruded part is still there.

why beat yourself up over this issue? Get some 17" rims and call it a day. 15" rims limit your upgrade ability as far as tie rods go anyways which if you do any wheeling you will need to upgrade. Buy the correct rim once.

That's not constructive. I didn't know there were so many problems with 15" rims as so many people were singing there praises and unless I looked for problem threads I wouldn't have found the "15inch steel rims don't fit" threads. Maybe you can throw away $1700 just to forget the set of wheels and tires and call it day, I can't. I'd rather do a little research and try not to take a 600-700 dollar hit if I don't have to, hence my "beating myself up"(doing research) over it. AND I've seen people running them on here so I'm trying to get information on how that could possibly happen. I end up spending more time having to defend a decision than I do reading useful information sometimes... I agree that I should have never started on the 15" rim path, PITA.

Can you take a picture of the area on the hub you are referring to?

I have both an '07 and a '14, I can take pictures of the effected area on each for you to compare.

Do your procomp 15x10s look like that in the middle? (with the "pressed in" mounting surface) I don't know how a hub flange as large as the jks can fit inside that tiny pressed mounting surface without doing what mine do grind into the walls before the surface gets flush.

first order of busines i would pull the retaining clips off the studs. That rim look like might be for some other vehicle.
