Default Diablosport Tuner

Wondering if anyone has used this on the 2011 yet, I know I read a few posts about people buying them a few weeks ago but have yet to hear what they think.

Just saw this product was available. Claims are pretty substantial so I would also like to know before spending the money.

I saw them for $525 on Amazon. Thought I saw somewhere on here a sponsor with prices "too low to print" whatever that means.

What kind of gains have you seen? What mods are done on the wife's rig? Just curious, with 37's I want to be sure it's worth the cash.

I too am interested in the gains for a 2012.$525 is a pretty good chunck of change, but it could be worth it

Can't find where Diablosport is available for the 2012 Wrangler yet, only the 2011.

I just installed mine 2 days ago. Set throttle to +20%, IMO, the most noticeable. Tuning 91 octane tune, there is a bit more go there, you do notice it. I have a 2011 2dr, 6spd, 3.73:1 gears, with some factory takeoff 255-75-17's, it came with the 16" Doughnuts. Adjusted wheel size, speedometers is perfect now. I'm running a Volant cai, viper TB, stock everything else. I got the programed for a STEAL on eBay, new $419 shipped, I got real lucky, seller was vanjava.

As for the tuner, I had to download a few of the CROMS from DS, there is no information about which crom to use for the wrangler, I used the one that ends on 9c, I think. Also had to upload a "patch", apparently, DS includes a patch so you don't have to take it to the dealer to update the ecu software.

As stated, I think the throttle control is the most noticeable but there is notably more power. There are several tunes available, 93octane, 91, 87, a MPG enhance tune, modified stock(change tire size and throttle adjustment) and a crawl tune. For those interested in knowing, you CAN install the tune and disconnect the tuner, you DONT have to hang that thing anywhere, unless you want the gauge and race tree light options. I use torque on my Evo4g and it works awesome.

And as long as I'm posting, a thought on the 2012 tunes. If you stop and think about it, the 3.8l has been out for 5yrs now, 4 of which, the ecu was tunable, so, r&d was easy for the 2011 3.8l, it was the rolling code that made us wait. Knowing that, the 3.6l has only been out for about a year and NO ONE HAS TUNED IT, so if you think about it, there is a lot of R&D that DS needs to do to get a reliable tune, something they can put their name on and be proud of, so logically, ITS GOING TO BE A WHILE, hang on, I'm sure its coming. Lastly, the 2011 and 2012 ecmecm are the same(I believe), so if that is true, they already unlocked the 2012 factory tune, I'm sure somewhere, there is a 3.6l jk doing some hard pulls on a dyno, logging data to help DS get a 300+HP tune for us, just give it time.

By the way, I AM NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE EBAY SELLER I MENTIONED NOR DO I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH DS OTHER THAN A CUSTOMER, I GAIN NOTHING BY POSTING MY FINDINGS AND NO, I WILL NOT TOSS MY HEEP ON A DYNO TO GET REAL FIGURES.

I hope I helped answer some questions.
