Default Decisions on my lift. 2.5 Coil lift

Just bought my first Jeep few weeks ago. 2007 2dr 6 speed 4:10. Stock Sahara as it sits. Thinking about going with a Terraflex 2.5 coil lift with shocks. This with 35s will do me just fine. I will have to add a rear tire carrier and the front bumper may get swapped out. Will the 2.5 be fine for simple off road use? No rocks down here, just simple hunting club bad roads, fire trails, and mudding is all I will be doing. I like a 3 inch lift but do not want to deal with the shaft troubles. Will the rear tire carrier drop the back enough to where I should do something about that? Want to keep the Jeep level after the install. From some pics I have seen, it seems that some of these 2.5 lifts give a litle more than 2.5 inches.
Do any of you guys have the TF 2.5 or other brand coil lift installed? How do you like it?

TF lift on the 2 door will give you at least 3 inches. Its plenty of lift for 35s. Tire clearance over the bumper depends on your wheel. Definitely put the carrier on your list.

For what your going to use your Jeep for, a 2.5 sounds perfect. You'll be very happy with TF.

I have the TF 2.5' coil lift and TF shocks on my 12 JKU and I am very happy with it. No complaints at all.

Love mine but may upgrade the kit to TF front lower adjustable control arms and track bar. I feel like it will handle steering at highway speeds a bit better.

Don't forget you will also need exhaust spacers to avoid interference with your front drive shaft.

AEV 2.5 w/ RK LCAs and I am extremely happy.

Probably would only be happier w/ EVO plush coils....mostly cause my wife and little boy like the softest ride possible. M

Tf 2.5" lift is nice but with bumpers and winch i would say go 3" i have 2" spacers up front and 1" in the rear to make up for the sag with the extra weight
