Default Deciding on suspension

I am looking at getting a 2.5" suspension kit, idk if I should do it before the bumpers of after. I plan on running 35's i dont think I will ever go 37s also only using it as a daily driver and exploring Jeep no rock crawling. I am leaning towards the rubicon express kit.

Teraflex JK 2.5 Lift Kit (I would need to do wheel/tire upgrade first)

TeraFlex Part 1251000 - 2.5

Rubicon Express 2.5" Standard Coil Suspension System with Mono Tube Shocks (can run as is)

Rubicon Express Part RE7121M - 2.5" Standard Coil Suspension System with Mono Tube Shocks

I would go Rock Krawler or TeraFlex. Personally I went RK.

More than I want to spend man but no doubt that RK is an excellent kit. I am looking at $750 max shipped with shocks included, the RE kits shocks look sturdier than the TF shocks.

Between those two, I'd definitely do the Teraflex. Northridge4x4.com ships it for free.

You can get the TeraFlex 2.5 with upgraded Bilstein shocks easily for $750 or less shipped

I had the teraflex 2.5 lift. Most likely you will need front lower control arms and possibly a front adjustable track bar to really dial it all in. I now have an aev 2.5 waiting to go on. Cost me a little over 1k with brackets instead of arms. I also bought extended brake lines. You may have a budget in mind but it might not be enough to get what you really want/need.

Personally, I have a rubicon express kit, and I love it (but I have the 3.5" kit and it was an insane price for what it has).

However, this might be right up your alley.

that is very true i will look at the TF kit. The only thing is it says it requires aftermarket wheels 4.5 BS. I wont be getting new wheel/tire setup until my 33s are shot.

Most lifts require 4.5 bs

I ran a 2" rubicon express for the past 4 years and just upgraded to a RK 3.5. The only compliant I have about rubicon express is that their shocks suck and the ride is not the best. With the rock krawler and bilsteins, jeep rides better than it ever did, even when it was factory. Rock krawler is 100% quality and I highly recommend their products. Rubicon express would be a cheap option IMO.

Granted, you have to start somewhere. Just don't want you to do what I did and end up replacing that lift in the future with something quality.
