so again the point is...w/out any f'in directions theres no way to KNOW !
and if i buy a product i sure as hell shouldnt have to go SEARCHING for directions or confirmation of how its put together. Im not stupid...ive worked on plenty of cars / trucks....but its irritating as hell to be shipped a bag of bolts w/ no info ! Hell i got more directions w/ the DIFF covers ive installed (and im pretty sure theyre fool proof) !

I do have to say it sucks your kit did not come with instructions. I got mine before they changed to kit to accomodate the 2011-2012.

yup sorry im just pissed and frustrated.
I wasnt aware the kit included anything for the rear (i figured it out obviously)....but again
w/out directions theres a lot of uncertainty.
theres als no indication (via web or other wise) that some owners will end up w/ xtra bolts....
again its just piss poor and short sighted....i dont need directions per se (some probably would), but even a list or indication of which bolts / where would have been EASY to include !

I called north ridge - they claim there should have been directions, i asked for 'em to get a copy and although he claimed to be reading them - he couldnt tell me where the 14mm bolts went.
the guy at NR 1st claimed that silver 14mm's went up front, then he said one in the front and one in the rear...but couldnt tell me what side the "silver" 14mm went on....
as it is, i found that the gold 9/16s fit better in the rear track bar (the 14mm's had some slop in 'em).
unfortunately ive got one of the 9/16s in the track bar frame mount, im told that one should be a silver 14mm...well now i cant get the 9/16s bolt out...so im stuck w/ it the way it is.
from what i can tell the 9/16s fit tighter in the sleeve anyway (probably why i cant get it out), theres no slop in it, thats for sure. even on the passenger side (track bar) mount the 9/16 bolt fit better.
the entire experiance would have gone a lot better if there were some directions ! Id be interested in hearing from anyone else that has recv'd this kit and if they saw any directions or not.
I'll be checking w/ another friend who bought the same kit (hasnt installed it yet).

My Northridge bolt kit had no instructions. I read somewhere that the 14mm bolt was for 2012 models only. Stupidly I did not test fit it after the stock bolt came out. I now have a 9/16 bolt STUCK REALLY TIGHT into the frame/upper side of the front track bar.
For all I know I have fubar'ed my bushing trying to hammer it out from the back side, now i'm out of ideas for getting that bolt out of there. If no luck tomorrow, I will need to have the jeep towed to get undone by at the damn stealership. I can't drive it like this FML.

So, like some others, I've been fighting death wobble on my 2008 Rubi Unlimited (Teraflex 3.5" Lift on 35x12.5" tires) for some time. I bought the Northridge bolt kit and noticed a couple of things while installing:
1. I have the Teraflex adjustable trackbar. The frame side bolt went right in with no problems. The axle side bolt wouldn't go through at all. I pulled the trackbar off and tried to push the bolt through, but the bolt shoulder wouldn't go through as it's too big - tried several other bolts in the kit with no luck! I went to Napa and bought a 9/16" course-thread bolt and it works fine - weird.
2. When replacing the lower control arm bolts, the driver side went pretty smooth. The passenger side was a real pain! When I was putting the frame-side bolt in, I noticed the hole was off-center and the bolt wouldn't go through. I had to ratchet-strap the axle and pull it towards the rear of the vehicle before the hole would line up so I could get the bolt through. Does this seem normal or is something out of whack with my axle alignment front to rear??
Nonetheless, took the Jeep out and found a nice bridge expansion joint doing about 50 mph - boom! Death wobble and frustration continue!
