death wobble help
I just put on a set of 37 inch mtrs on my 07 jeep unlimited. I had previously had 35 inch bfg's. I've only had on the 37's about a week adn the wobble has gotten progressively worse but only happens from 40 to 45 mph. My jeep has a 3 inch full traction ultimate lift with a .75 daystar spacer lift on the top of the springs. I don't have any trackbar brackets on the front nor do i have a draglink flip kit and i have the stock steering stabilizer on it still.
Basically i have stock steering and noticed the wobble slightly before i put on the new tires.
I have a rough country dual steering stabilizer arriving tomorrow that im going to install.
I know it could be a bunch of things from bushings to ball joints to steering geometry. What im looking for is a list of different things i need to start checking so i can get this fixed as it is my daily driver. Does anyone have any suggestions?

First thing to check is your track bar. It should be torqued @ 125 ft. lbs. Next thing is to drive back to the shop that installed your tires and get them rebalanced. If it is speed related shimmy it is most likely unbalanced tires. Large off road tires can be a bitch to balance and often takes a couple of tries to get it correct.

I recentered my axle and greased/inspected and retightened my trackbar to 125 ft/lbs the other day so i don't think thats the problem.
after i install the dual steering stabilizer tomorrow i will take it to the shop and have them rebalance the tires.
Don't know if i said it but if i speed up quickly through 40to50mph it doesn't happen.

my tire guy did say that one of the rear tires did take alot to balance so im wondering if he just gave up on the fronts??? one thing to note is that i thought by reducing the tire pressure it might help since i was only running 28 lbs in my bfg's so i dropped the pressure from 36 to 30 and it seems to be worse. its also gotten worse since the temp dropped into the 10's in the south???
