What these guys said is all true. First time latching seems difficult compared to stock but they work. Best twenty bucks + I spent.

Talk to BustaBizz from 4wd.com on the forum, they are having a 15% off daystar products and he just hooked me up with them cheap.

Difficult's an understatement! These things are a bitch to get latched. Im hoping they will stretch a bit like others have said.

Like they stated before, you have to force them at first. They break in over time.

Had mine on for a few weeks.
It has gotten cooler here, 30tys at night 50tys day, and they are still stiff and tight/hard to latch compared to OEM.
However, I'll deal with that after alot of highway driving and not a hint of flutter!
I agree the OEM should be same compound/durometer as the Daystars.

definately a good investment, and a BIATCH when new. They dont come with the added elbow grease needed the first time, gotta provide that yourself. You should keep them though, you will be happy you did when on the interstate.

Mine were the same way as everyone's already mentioned - hard at first, but now, having it about ohhh 8 months or so, hood flutter has returned. :(

You've heard it a hundred times so make this 101! The first time it's a real bitch to get them latched but each time after that it's better and better...great mod for $20 and the hood does not flutter at all...
