x2 on the Daystar hood wranglers. Easy install and they really hold the hood down tight. Good investment.

Default best $30 investment so far

I have had them for about 4 months or so...and best investment so far.... I do alot of highway driving at 70-80...and have absolutely zero hood bounce now. maybe it is just a comfort factor....but for me it was worth it...the hood dancing like that cant be good for it.

Would definitely recommend getting these.....sorry no pics....but they look exactly same as factory...and I mean exactly....

I tolerated the flutter until I added the lift and ripped off the plastic air dam. The flutter increased, and at lower speeds. The Daystar latches are excellent. 10 minute install and no flutter at all even when 18 wheelers zoom by in the opposite direction. $25 bargain.

The source of the hood flutter comes from the fact that the stock jk suspension ever so slightly points the jeep nose down. the wind will not have much chance getting under the hood at this angle, though sometimes it does still. once you put on after market suspension it levels out your rig allowing air to flow freely under the hood. Removal of your hood springs which help the wind cause flutter, makes your hood heavy enough to allow the seal to do its job. and its free and im cheap.
