Default Daystar 3/4" BB question

Alright, so here's my dilemma. My JK is now sporting some new Pro Comp 285/75r15 Mud Terrainson stock steelies. I need a lift but don't know if I really need or want to go to a 2 or 2.5" BB lift. It is doing some rubbing but part of my problem is that I haven't even seen the Jeep with the new tires. My wife had them put on while I am currently at Ft. Hunter Liggett (I have a great wife). I want to order the lift while I am still here so the lift is sitting there when I get home but don't really know if the 3/4" is enough or not. I would greatly appreciate any pics of JKs with the 3/4" lift and 285's. I really haven't seem much in the way of pics here.

BTW, I had ordered a set of 265/75r15 PC xtreme A/Ts but 4WP wouldn't mount them, even though I bought the tires from them, but that's a whole nother thread.

So... any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I would go 1 3/4. If you do any wheeling, you are going to need it. You can find them on ebay all the time for around $120.

X2 I used 1 3/4 spacers in the front and 3/4 in the rear for a while with no problems, and it looked good.

yep, something more like this 1-3/4" lift from Rough Country would be a good idea...it's cheap ($129) but does the job. This is the one I have, and if I COMPLETELY stuff the front tires when disconnected, it rubs ever so slightly with my 32" tires. So, I would imagine that 33's with just a 3/4" lift and disconnected would rub a little more.

Then again, it could just be my wheels that make the difference...only 4" backspacing, so that may be why mine rubs?? ahh, who knows...

I also have 285's and I stacked 2 - 3/4' spacers in the front and used 1 in the rear, looks good and rides good.

don't see the point of going with 3/4. at least get 1 and 3/4 as they say.

Thanks for the input. I guess it's just pretty hard to figure out what to do when I haven't seen it or seen how much it rubs. Was hoping for some pics though. I probably should go for the 1 3/4" lift but seeing as how this is my dd and only wheel it a little bit (that's why I didn't just lift it and put 35s on it) it just makes it tough to call.

LOL, OH YEAH!! this was after a night of following some dune buggies around....we got to a REALLY big mudhole and they were too scared to go in, so I played enough for all of us.
