Dana 60 up front Stock 44 Rear
Does anybody run a Dana 60 up front (like a Prorock 60) with the stock Dana 44 in the rear? I'm just wondering if it's best to skip the Prorock 44 and go straight to the 60. Maybe that's a dumb question and I just don't know it yet.

Go ahead and buy a macked out 44 that you can give to me when you upgrade to the 60. I prefer 5.13 gears with an ARB locker in it. Thanks!
Edit: I forgot to mention that I think he's right that WOL did it. I believe he ran spacer on the rear wheels so that they would be even with the front 60.

What are you planning to do? There are guys running 40's on the PR44. You can get the PR44 with 1/2" wall tubing. The PR60 is the same wall thickness just 3.25" OD tubing...1/4" bigger OD than the PR44. I ordered the PR44 with RCV's cause Im dont plan on going bigger than 37's that I am currently running. If you are going with something bigger than 37's, then yes, I would look into a PR60. Other wise, save $3K+ and get a PR44. Thats just my But if you have the money, just get the PR60...overkill never really hurt anyone.

I am only running spacers in the front. My front is as wide as a 60. I havent had any problems. This is beside the topic though.

yup, i've run that exact setup and it works. you can install wheel adapters in the rear so that you can even out your axle width and run 5x5.5 wheels. if you go this route, i would recommend running 5.13 gears as opposed to 5.38's as the pinion in the rear will be your biggest weak point as mkjeep pointed out.
