How hard was it to weld those rings on?What's cost savings verses buying beadlock wheels?Nice job on your build up

It seemed to take forever but I am very particular about my stuff, welding grinding, painting and bolting it took about 5 hours for the one wheel and tire

The wheels cost around 95 a piece and beadlock kit was 350 for all 5 so yeah it was way cheaper

Great thread thanks for taking the time to document and share! Looking at upgrading to a junkyard D60 build myself so I appreciate the info. Nice tips like the Dynatrac kit (too bad it's frigin' expensive) are good to know!

Mocked everything up with all the brackets tacked on to check fit and measurements and found I need to use different lower control arm mounts in the rear and I'm probly going to keep it radius arm in the front instead of triangulated uppers
