A month ago I wanted to get a Core 44 front axle with the $500 rebate, so I called 4WD to order. They said that they are back ordered on housings out to around August/September at that point... I'm sure its into fall at his point. I couldn't wait a half a freaking year, so I called Eric at NorthRidge 4x4 and got a Dynatrack PR44 built up and... it arrives TODAY! Yes, it was about a grand more, but it actually exists on the planet earth.... unlike the Core 44. I was/am pretty pissed that they (Transamerica/4WP/4WD) would start a $500 off promo for an axle that they know that they can't actually source to fill orders. I needed an axle, my housing was screwed 3 ways from Sunday, I don't need the axle sometime next year! I need it ASAP.
