Default Dana 44 axles?

I need a D44 front axle. I was hoping for the great rubicon D44 deal.... Anybody know where I can find a good price. I was hoping to only spend $5000 for front axle, gears and lockers for both front and rear. Any ideas?

I'd keep an eye on the classifieds and try and get a rubi owner upgrading to D60's

You should be able to do much better than 5k for a D44. Are you looking for a fully built chromoly axled bad boy or the stock Rubicon D44 with factory lockers? I replaced my D30 with the mopar (factory) D44 for $1150. The msrp on these is $1495 I believe, but I hear there's an availability problem lately.

Why not build your stock axles up?

Dana 30 with chromoly axles and ARB along with your Dana 44 with chromoly axles and a ARB.

All the axles will have a 10 yr warranty!

Nice... but you might decide to stay on the porch to keep from stepping on your English Mastiff's large piles. (Just a thought)
