Dana 30 vs 44 vs 60

mopar has a full float rear 60 that is actually pretty reasonable for those that can't fab. A conversion to full float on a 44 would require cutting the end of the tubes off and welding on new ends for the bearings.

Yeah probably not worth it then. If the sticker goes the mopar 60 looks pretty attractive gotta say

more or less. You can reuse your tie rod and drag link. There are a couple brake upgrades they suggest. You will have to wire the lockers. But the brackets were designed to bolt up to factory suspension.

Yes, they are basically bolt in with the exception of a drive shaft.

Which is not the most fun project. Theres not much room for error. I was glad when mine turned out. Also most likely requires machining the spindle and thats if someone make a d44 spindle and hub setup. Ive never looked and itd also need new shafts.

Since you do not wheel a lot, just sleeve and gusset it, along with Synergy or Terflex ball joints, after market drive shaft! I have close to same set up and have only had replaced front ball joints to synergy after 55,000 miles. Will be doing tie rod ends and drag link ends soon, at 75,000 miles
