Daily Driver Lift and Tire Advice.
I still can't decide on the size lift and tires i want to get. On one hand i would like to get 35's and a 3-4 inch lift. But this will be my daily driver and i feel that going that route will really bog me down on the highway. So I'm starting to think a 2 - 2.5 inch lift and when my stock 32's wear out i can get 33's. Any advice from the guys who drive there's everyday? I really think i am leaning toward a RE 2 inch BB or the teraflex 2.5 and 33's. then down the road if i really want to go larger i can and will just sell the lift and go larger. Any thoughts?

I went with a 2.5 BB and 33's. That was plenty for me as my daily driver. I felt a difference in power when I did that. Not bad but noticeable, I think i can get some of it back with a few more mods. I haven't noticed too much of a drop in fuel mileage but it did affect it, haven't checked it yet though. From what I've heard if you go to 35's you'll need to re-gear also. Good luck

I agree with PiginaJeep: 3", 35's and 5.13's. But, I want to clarify: your JK is an automatic, yes? If you have the 6-spd, you won't feel as "powerless" and could get by for a while without regearing. Of course, even stock, she doesn't exactly tackle the hills like a Ferrari! That's why the engine compartment has room for 2 more cylinders...
