Short of rock crawling, the AEV stuff is solid (except I think the installation process of Bilstein shocks is total BS, haha). If my intended use had been anything other than pushing my Jeeps limits, I'd easily go back to something like what AEV has to offer. It bolts on and it works. The more I spend, the more issues I have and the more I have to deal with. Sounds like you are doing your homework and found what fits for you. Great to see the excitement as well. You'll be happy with the AEV kit. Rarely hear of an unhappy AEV owner.
Thanks. I have got a lot of info on these forums. Just trying to do the smart build while I have the opportunity

I regeared my '12 JKU from 3.21s to 4.10s. On purpose!

I run 35" KM2s and its been fine. I recently added the Superchips Flashpaq. I run the 93 tune and now run over 300 HP.

I tow my camper all over the state. I can run 80 on the hwy if I want. I do fine off road and I only run the 2.72:1 transfer case.

4.56 might be the perfect gear but if you already have 4.10s the cost to upgrade would not be worth it.

AEV reuses stock parts plus a couple brackets, so there's nothing "wrong" with their kits. Whoever wants to throw rocks and call names needs to check their ego at the door. It's not their spot to determine what you need.

Go 35s or 34s I have 33s with AEV 2.5" lift and they are a tad small.

I'd agree with 35s. It seems that for every one person who went 35 and wished they went 33, there are 10 who went 33 and wished for 35.

I was torn between the two as well this past summer. I went 35. About 6 months later, I sold them and went 37.

I had 3.73 also. Then I found a solution! I call it 4.88. Hahaha.

Really though, if you have a 2012+, I'd agree that the 34" tire is about perfect with 3.73. The 35s and 3.73 was an unhappy pair on the highway.

I'm leaning strong toward 35's. I have the 4.10's.

AEV lift? Must going to use as a mall crawler.
Really? The white JK in this video has that 2.5" AEV lift. He's a highly experienced overlander, with plenty of time rock crawling in his past. He's also an extremely skilled fabricator, having pretty much restored the Land Rover Defender that is his primary vehicle (the JK belongs to his wife). Skip to 3:45 to go straight to Blanca Peak. Remember: Everything you see the other Jeeps doing, that "mall crawler" also did.
