as far as regearing I think it depends on what you want. I have (285/75-17 34" but actually measure exactly 33" with 28-30 psi) with 4.10's and automatic. I live in Montana where it is either up or down no flat land where I am at. I think if I had a true 35" tire not just one that was marked 35" but was really a 33.5" etc. I think I would want to regear if I were doing a lot of highway driving, which I do, I do about 20,000 plus a year. Just running around town or on easy trails probably just fine.

I have a '12 Auto with 3.73 and it got 16.8mpg cross country AND 33's I love it!!
