Daily Driver, 2014 Rubi, 2.5 AEV Lift, 35's... Should I Regear???
I have a JKURX on order... Scheduled to be shipped to AEV after production for 2.5 lift and other mods. Torn between 33 & 35 tire selection. Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Most likely going with BFG ALL Terrain Tires, 33 or 35 inch on Pintlers.

That's not true on the new models.
To the OP, welcome to the forum. You seem to be well-informed so you will be able to make the determination based on your environment. If after the tire change you feel pokey then you'll need a re-gear.
There are many many many threads on changing gears in your same situation if you need more information after driving your new Jeep after a couple months and seeing how it feels to you.

Get 35's, you will want them if you don't. I think you will be fine without a re-gear. If its you dd it should be good, I would say just drive it and see how it feels, and if it really isn't to your liking then go for a re-gear later.

Congrats. I got my black JKURX last Wednesday and so far all is well. I am leaving mine stock, me and my wife are full time RVers and this will be our only vehicle. Also trying to keep the weight down for flat towing.
With a 2.5 lift, you will be much happier with 35's and your Rubi X will look much better. Mine feels like it has enough power with my 410's to pull 35's pretty easy.
Have fun.
