Default D30 to D44 Swap

I'm currently running a stock front D30 with 37's and found a 2013 D44 that has the E Locker and everything else but the left axle. So can anybody tell me what to look for and/or avoid when i go look at this? Also how had would it be to hook up the E Locker? Im thinking i should be able to wire it to a switch. I have been working/upgrading vehicles my whole life but its hard to keep up with all the factory changes and models any more. Any advise will help.
