Default CV Joint to Double-Cardan Joint?

It looks like the seal on the CV joint on my driveshaft is finally starting to go on my 2010 JKU, with 2.5" lift & 35s.
Way back when I had my 95 ZJ, I had the CV joint replaced with a double-cardan joint on the original driveshaft. What options have some of the members here done?

Thanks

Teraflex has a high angle CV joint you could replace with, but for that price I think you're better off just getting an aftermarket shaft. The u-joint in that factory shaft is not replaceable, without some real craftiness, so it's better to just get something that is better longer term. my 2c at least.

Thanks. I did find that CV joint when searching. I'm leaning towards an aftermarket shaft now. This is primarily my DD and don't get out on the trails much at all anymore. Now looking for something that won't break the bank that will work for me as my daily driver.

DC shaft good quality will start around $600. And you religously have to grease the zerk fitting in the DC unit housing every 5-6000 miles. Recommend the one where you change the yoke at the TC end. Front end plate is a stock replacement. No issues there.

It's been a while since I recall seeing someone replace with that TF CV. That isn't to say nobody has, just nobody posting about it (posts in general have really dried up over the years). I'd be curious to hear any follow-ups if you ever have an issue with it. It seems everyone I recall from the past that installed that was pretty happy with it. Hopefully it's trouble-free for years to come.
