I'm running 37's on a 2014 JKUR with RK's 3.5 x-factor which moves the axle back an inch. You either need to trim the rear seam or do as I did and take a BFH to it to fold it over and then retouch the paint. I went to a local paint shop that can color match into a rattle can and you can hardly tell it didn't come that way from the factory. There was also some generous trimming of the rear portion of the fender/inner fender. No trimming needed in front of the tire with this set up.

I have a 16 HR and am running 35's, but they are not 12.5 wide they are 11.5 wide. I ditched the rubi rails and got smittybuilt rock rails. This eliminated any cutting there. As for every thing else i clear perfect since i stayed with my 285/75R18 tires.

So I guess I have no choice but to remove the plastic wheel tubs with 37" tires?
I really don't want to.... butt....
I detail my Jeep after wheeling, and I keep the tubs pure black with Meguiares All Season Dressing so that the Jeep looks like brand new. I am very OCD about cleaning my vehicles!

I did the switch to 35's last week, and i haven't had the chance to flex my rig yet, i'm getting my front coils replaced this coming Friday, and after that i wanted to hit the trials again, but then i stumbled into this thread, and of course now i'm worried i'm going to rub badly back there, as people are saying the seam has to shaved regardless of 35's or 37's.
I did cut the rubi rail back when i had 33's, it didn't look good with 33's visually to have that long of a rail sticking out towards the tire, though there was plenty of clearance.
This are pics that show the gap between the rubi rail and tire, and what i think you guys are reffering to the seam in the back of tire. do i still need to shave both ??
I have no problems playing the ninja with my grinder , but i just need to know what to cut so i don't trim too much...

Rubi rail already shaved

Rear seam ? untouched

Is this the only thing we need to do back there with the seam?

This may not pertain to any of you, as I'm not running any bumpstop and have a 2008 but I've trimmed pretty generously on the front/rear pinch seams and rubi rail to run 37s. I now rub only slightly on the top of the wheel well in the back. The front Im running cut flares and I've cut off the metal flare support. I'm now rubbing on my grill, front edge of the fender itself, and the corner of my bumper. It's a shittybilt xrc. Here's some pics of my last shakedown run to see.

Running 35's and stock control arms you should be fine the way your are. I run 37's and RK X-Factor which stretches the rear by 1". My 07 never rubbed in the rear with 37's. Only where you have already trimmed. Bring a hammer and bend the pinch seam if you end up hitting it as a quick trail mod. I'm the only one in my group of 8 JK's that has had to trim the rear of the well.
