Cut the Hood and Installed Vents

Forgot to mention... Although I didn't do any airflow/temperature testing, I always noticed how the snow would always melt on the drivers side close to the middle/front of the hood -- so I thought that would be the best place (outside of the x support) to let the heat out.

Unfortunately, I installed it the same weekend I cut the hood up, so I don't have anything connected to it yet since the Jeep has been in the shop for a week as of today.

It's not over the battery, just over the fuse box and air intake. When you get the kit, the install instructions also describe how to make a rain diverter, but I didn't bother.

i like that look. i'm not brave enough to do something like this myself. i'd have to send it off to a body shop. but it does look very good.
i get that as well... i think its because the computer is under that spot. its that silver "wall" like thing with the 4 big plugs in it. i've noticed that it'll get burning hot year round. i think thats why that spot on the hood always warms up first. so good idea putting a vent right over it.
