Default Custom exhaust help.

I had a custom cat back made for my 2 door 2013 jk. I love the way it looks, the high clearance, the rumble at idle.

But at high way speeds, especially when passing car, it just to damn loud. It's fine around town, as long as I don't floor it. Because then it's REALLY loud. There is to much rasp for my liking.

Here are some pics of the set up, if need be j can get a vid up to. Any ideas would be great as to how to fix it and make it more of a sound I'm after.

Looks like a glass pack. Have you tried magnaflow? I had them on my 08 and 12 and sounded great. No drone at speed either.

I think that's basically what it is. I have not tried anything else. Should I try a manga flow muffler with this set up? Or take away the glass pack and put the magnaflow in its place?

Was also thinking about maybe a flow master?

I found on my last setup a Flowmaster 50 series had a good tone and was quiet. Rip that glass pack out of there.

Did you mount the flow master in the same location as whet the glass pack is?

Similar. I built a custom stainless one that routed behind the crossmember and had a pre axle dump. Here is a picture. I loved this setup, but I had to go a different route when I did my rear four link.

Adding a resonator will do wonders in cutting out some of that rasp you hear. Also, going to a more substantial muffler would obviously help cut the volume a little.

Our mufflers tend towards a deeper growl rather than an outright roar and I think that would probably give you something close to what you're looking for. To discuss actual specs, you should give our tech guys a call. They're awesome and would be happy to help you pick some parts.
