Default currently 35s and 3.5 Lift and thinking of 37s and 4'' Lift

Hi Guys,
My 2DR Jk is running great. I'm running 35s 4.88 gearing and have 3.5 Sky.J Lift kit. The car has all the Mods possible for Normal Aspirated engine.
The car pulls nicely comparing to stock JK despite being heavy because of the Tires, front rear bumpers and winch.
Up to this moment my car is a daily driver.
The type of off road driving we mainly do is desert crossing and dune climbing) ,driving off Gravel, occasionally river crossing Mud and rarely
Rock Crawling.

Now I'm seriously considering 37s.
any drawbacks???
Currently I have stock Axle 30/44. I need to up grade that to 44/60.
I'm aware that if I put 37s my car will run slower and lose some power because obviously 37s are heavier (how much heavier are the comparing to 35s) which w

What do you suggest guys, any advice will be seriously appreciated

You're going to take a lot of heat here for calling your jeep a car

I didn't know a Porsche could fit 35 inch tires. That's great! What about your Jeep?

Sorry We had to give you a hard time about the "car" thing. But in all seriousness, there are several threads in this section that just got started concerning 37's. Generally I think the concensus is the larger the tire the worst the gas mileage.

I'm currently tuning 37x12.50x17 with 4" lift & 5:13 gears on my jku ( not a car ) and I'm getting 14 mpgs on highway. But who buys jeeps for the mps? If you want good gas mileage you better stick with you car!

It really depends on the type of tire. You'll have to look at the ones youre interested in, some are a lot heavier than others just like some might be more true to 37 inches than others. Then there are the wheels, if you have 16" wheels on your 35's you might go up to 17" wheels on your 37's. If youre out running the dunes I could see 37's hindering you more than helping. It'd cause you to lose horsepower for making your way up the dunes. I'd stick with 35's and upgrade your front axle to a 44 and think about upgrading the engine first.

OMG..guys you couldn't get over the car thing and forgot to share your experience and knowledge lol
True that 37's won't help specially crossing the desert or climbing the dunes but the look of 37's are just amazing.
I have all the mods from air intake , cams, LT headers etc
