Default Crawler concepts inner fenders

These are being installed this weekend. I'm expecting install to be a breeze. Question is, who has done them and did you leave them bare or paint/powder coat black?

Any feedback? I'm thinking a nice coat of primers then flat black rattle can.

Whatever you coat them with expect it to take a beating. All the rocks/mud/dirt etc will basically sand blast the crap out of them.

So maybe it best to just rattle can them. This way touch ups are cheap, easy & fast.

I had mine Rhino Lined. Looks great and has held up very well, not a scratch or divet!

My thoughts exactly. Flat black rattle after a good primer easy to to touch up.

Anyone leave them bare?

You might also consider Rustoleum rattle can truck bed liner. I think I got it at either Lowe's or Home Depot. It should be more durable than just paint and just as easy to touch up. I used it on my diff covers about a year ago and haven't had to touch them up yet. Just used a few coats of self-etching primer first and it seems to hold up really well.

I used rattle can on mine. Just got back from Moab over thanksgiving no problems of chips. I used etching primer, then pick a color. I did aluminum color on the screen for the two tone effect.

I like that! Didn't think about the screen. I'm not sure if I'll do the screen yellow or leave it bare... I have nothing else on the jeep silver so not sure bare will match!

This is what he's taking about.
Walmart has it by far the cheapest. It was on sale for like $6 a can a couple days ago, not sure if it still is. I've used this shit on everything for the past 7 years or so lol
