The factory backspacing on the steel wheels is listed at 6.25". I went with Cragers that are 16x8 with 5" backspacing and am very happy with them.

Yeah thanks for that link that was very informative.

I will probably just go with 16s x 8 with the 4'' backspacing.........

I will take my jk by the local tire shop first to see what he thinks.......... who knows what will happen lol

There is the exact tire that I am looking at and want

its 15 x 8 5 on 5 with 4'' BS and -12 MM offset

I wouldnt know where to start measuring, and how do you figure in -12 mm offset ????

Can anyone tell me if it would fit my 2dr X lol

By the way, there is a link in that thread that shows which wheels will work. The two different wheels have the same numbers but the ones that work are the D-windows, not the round ones. I would guess that the D-window Cragers don't have the lip that gets in the way of the caliper.
