Default Could the turnbuckle have something to do with the turn signals?

The front of my JK is lifted 1.75". On the tech threads, it was stated that lifting your Jeep, a substantial amount, could off-center the steering wheel and you need to re-center it by adjusting the turnbuckle.

Since I lifted it, I never adjusted it, it looks center to me.

Now, when I make a left hand turn and the turn signal is on, once the JK is tracking straight again (after the turn is complete), the signal doesn't go off. It works normal when making a right, but not a left.

I'm thinking the steering wheel is off-center which in turn, isn't allowing the signal arm to fully disengage.

Does this sound like the problem, or am I overthinking this situation and probably have a malfunctioning turn signal arm (though it was perfectly fine before the lift and I've been driving over 1,000 miles on the lift).

If your wheel is off-center, then yes, it could have an effect on your signals. But if you believe your wheel is centered, then probably something else. BTW, after lifting your Jeep, your wheel should be off by a bit, I know mine was even after the 2.5" BB I first started with.

Some members have reported a problem with the signal switch not turning off after a turn. I think the dealerships warrantied the blinker thing. Your 1.75 inch of lift should not need much if any recentering.

An easy way to tell if it's in the turn signal cam is this: Get in, crank it up and turn on the left signal. Turn the wheel left like you're making a turn and then back to center, but over compensate to the right. If the switch doesn't cut off, the turn signal cam is broken.
