Saw this while driving by at an airport. Anyone know what it would cost and what are the downfalls?

This. Youre already driving a heavy brick. That would just be driving a heavy brick, plus more heavy. Wouldnt recommend it for a DD. However, if it was a trial rig, then Id do it. Just get a hood louver to help that heat get out, since it'll be even harder(or just yank those ugly fender wells!)

weight?? we load these things up with steel bumpers and armor and u say truck bed lining is too heavy?? lol.
a gallon of Bedliner is about 8.6lbs. even if it were 10 gallons, what's 80lbs?? !!! ditch the fat chicks and bedline the jeep!!
I'm guessing that jeep is one of the "kevlar coated" Starwood customs one off ebay

I've heard prices up to about 4k for linex with the Uv protectant and all. The linex guy said it isn't alot of weight added. 50lbs or so. Doesn't seem like much when you look at the weight of a tire carrier and front bumper combo.

hmm interesting. wonder of its the same "Kevlar coated" lining the eBay guys use they claim is 200% stronger than regular rhino lining. I'm curious too how much to coat a jeep, hopefully someone pops in with an answer

I see where many of you are coming from but I'm rocking stock bumpers, no spare and notbackseat to lighten up my jeep quite a bit. It works really well for driving on the sand. Keeps me floating instead of sinking

Look up Al's liner you an get it from 4 wheel parts. that's proably what im gonna do it'll cost 3-400 at most and you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself... but I got quoted about $3200 if I removed everything and prepped all the surfaces for the lineX with UV coating

Local shop charges about 400$ for interior floors only. I have a friend with entire jeep line-x. He busted a piece off on rocks, said its no big deal because it comes with life time guaranty, shop will just redo it. Hearsay though... I don't know much, I'm to poor for it. Lol

That is definitely a Starwood Jeep.. I would say the only drawback of this particular "Bedlined" Jeep, is the 50k price tag that came with it... I would say inside and out at a place like Line X would be around 3k..... But just guessing since its pretty labor intensive...
