Default Correct metric size for 35s?

Is 315 75 r16 the correct size for "35s" on my 16 inch rims?

It would have been faster to just google it yourself, but it calculates to 34.6 x 12.4

And tire manufacturers always round sizes up to the next whole number so a 315/75-16 and a 315/70-17 are considered 35x12.50's.

And they tend to stretch thier measurements. My 315/70/17's should be 34.4 but they only measure out to 34. 90 % are smaller.
