What's your take for a Daily Driver, mud every other weekend?

Duratracs get my vote. My DD has 35x11.50s on, and they are awesome! Smooth ride, not much noise, and handle well in all types of terrain. I'd highly recommend them

35x11.5?? Where did you find that size in a duratrac? Or that size period?

I'm getting tires in the new year, and I'm starting to get a head-ache from trying to decide which tires to get.Maybe their should be posts on which tire to stay away from But not to completely hi-jack, with everything I have read,I have decided on Coopers,35x12.5x17

From what I've read both tires are great.

In Cooper's site, within the tire specs, it seems that the only difference between ST & STT's is that ST handle winter better. They are the same for the rest of the parameters (treadwear, offroad, etc).

If i've been doing this with my stock Duelers w/35K miles, either Coopers or Duratracs will be a great upgrade:

Since you do mudding, I would suggest the Coopers. Duratracs look like they would suck in the mud.

About twelve years ago I worked for the direct distributer of Cooper tires to Canada, and while the tread design has changed slightly, the STT is still one of the best mud terrain tires available. Only reason you don't hear as much about Cooper is because they don't have an exclusive deal with any auto manufactures...... And the reason is they refused to make a tire in any class with a UTQG below 300, or about 60,000 kms.
