Default Cooper stt sidewalls

Anyone running the cooper stt had any issues with sidewall punctures or cuts? At $100 cheaper per tire than the toyo or nitto I'm thinking about trying them out. Any feedback would be appreciated. They get good reviews from guys running them on pavement. I'm interested in how they hold up in the rocks.

Those are a good heavy duty tire that resists cuts well, has great traction, and wears pretty good.

Hey Jordan, I ran them before my Goodyears for 2 years and never had a problem with them. They wear really well but they can chunk a bit in the rocks but I never saw it as an issue. I might run them in a 37 next year.

One of our club members runs them on his well built YJ (D60s, sprung over, stretched, etc.) and they've done very well. No failures I know of. I was looking at a set yesterday while waiting on service at the local Ford dealer, who sells them via their parts dept. Attractive pricing.

I have them in 37s and wheeled them at rausch at 10psi and they hooked on everything. As you mentioned the price difference alone is what made me get them. I see you're local, if you wanna check them out first hand we can meet up.

I've seen them a couple times but only seen them wheeled once on some pretty mild stuff.

On my last trip we did all levels of trails from mild to a touch of reds and I had no issues or complaints. In fact a guy in our group was running toyos noticed how well they were hooking he started asking about them.I think you'll be very happy with them.

I have ran them on my last two Jeep with no issues, from heavy wheeling to now just a commute tire and weekend trail runs. They are great tires
