Default Cooper MTP? Anyone?

This tire is pretty new to the market and I can't seem to find much real world feedback on it. Is anyone out there running this tire? I have it pretty much narrowed down to this or the safe option of Duratrac.

But long term plan is to go to 35s after I wear through a set of 33s, and 35x12.5R15 looks too ballonish. The 315/75/16 looks much better to me. And for only $12 per tire more, I could do the 305/70/16 MTP instead of the 33x12.5R15 Duratrac, and I wouldn't have to buy wheels when I go to the 315/75/16s in a couple years.

I am really trying to find out if the MTP is too mud tire-ish for a DD. The center tread looks fairly forgiving and much like a Duratrac.

They look promising, though they are pretty new in the market so you will not find many reviews about them.

I have been enjoying mine , have had them out twice and did a great job. My 315/70/17 measure 33.5". Not to much road noise, nothing more than my factory bfg m/t. Only have about 350 miles on pavement on them, I run them on a set of beadloacks and switch to my stock for dd

those tires look nice, i just bought so bfg ko2s from discount tire, and they are like $20 cheaper per tire, theyve done me really well in the snow and on ice. i havent had the chance to test them out on a trail, but ive heard many a good thing about the ko2s so im looking forward to spring time when i can use them on something other than this cold frozen wasteland where i live

So you are usign these as a DD tire? Would you see any issues DD'ing the MTP? In rain or hard pack snow?

Not really , I will jump in and run up to town every now and then. If I have to DD my jeep I put the factory wheels and BFG M/T's on it in stock size, just to save my trail tires.
