You'll love them is all I gotta say.... what else you wanna know? Definitely weld on gussets. You said you got gears, what ratio? You get a new front driveshaft yet? Trim the pinch seams in the rear too.
Thanks for the replie...As fas as regear I'm not actually sure of the ratio I have because I purchased the jk like this. No front driveshaft yet, I was going to wait a while on that.

I have to cut pinch seam, changed fenders and cutting rear bumper. Other than those changes I love the new size. I was running 35 inch wheels before. They really make a difference offroad. You will love them.
Yeah I've placed my hand around my 35s to make sure I have the clearance. Seems like I'll be ok. Thanks for the heads up.

With a 3.5" lift and wanting 37's, you're gonna wanna get that sooner than later cause it's gonna crap out on you for sure. But, it's a safe bet you can get some more life out of it...just keep in mind, it's a standard replacing the thick diameter stock front shaft with that much lift on a 4 door especially wanting 37's.

Thanks, I was wondering this too. Just got the front sleeved and gusseted. Was thinking about doing the rear, but too broke and my friend at the shop said they're not needed.

The rear is a Dana 44 and can handle more abuse so-to-say than the front (which is a Dana 30, unless you have a Rubi). No reason to gusset or sleeve the rear, it's only common on a Dana 30 up front for an avid wheeler with bigger tires, etc. Recommend stronger axle shafts if anything for some added reassurance on the trails if you really wheel hard.

I have a Sport, but did a front axle swap with a Rubi D44 a couple weeks ago. I got it sleeved and gusseted because the labor was essentially going to be free because it was already taken apart + wanted to protect my investment. I got a great deal on the D44 in near new condition.

I only have 33's right now, but will be getting 35's hopefully soon.

In all honesty, with sleeves and gussets on a front D44 on 35's (which very rarely run true to size) you will be fine. Anything can happen of course, depending on the driver, what you wheel, how you wheel, all that good stuff. Wheel smart and you'll be a happy camper hopefully with some extra $$$ in your pocket not wasted.

@ FoxRacingJMC

Have you changed out your ball joints, tie rod or drag link and should I really have to sleeve the dana 44?

My JK already has some woble around 45-50mph so I was thinking it would get worst with 37s. Maybe I need to change out the drag link but then again since I'm using the AEV lift it already has a new one.

stock ball joints, tie rod, and just the drag link from my AEV kit... mine drives the same, if not better than stock....and thats with my 37's and all the added weight of other things.... Again, I don't think sleeves are necessary if you're just doing some minor off roading every so ofter. Wheel smart and you should be fine.

If anything breaks, I will replace then. Not gonna spend money on things that have served me well so far just because people say you should on the forum. Again, I wheel smart, know what I'm getting into, and don't push my limits since I know I don't have a PR44 or even a D44 for that matter up front. The wobble could be related to other things as well. It's all "here-say" on the forum....a wobble to you could be nothing but just the jeep being a jeep with bigger tires hitting head on wind or something. Remember, we drive a box on wheels.
