Default Confused about gear options, can anyone clarify?

on Northridge 4x4's website, gears are listed by either

1)ring & pinion set
2)ring & pinion and Install kit
3)ring & pinion and overhaul kit

If I am gonna change my 3.21's to 4.88's with a dana 30 front and dana 44 rear,
which would be the best option? Obviously the latter two have components that are needed to do the job but what is the difference between the two?

If its only because include new carriers, i wont need them because i plan on getting front and rear arb lockers. so will i need only the first option?

The overhaul kit includes new bearings, which is a good thing.

If your jeep has low miles, you can get away with the install kit and re-use the stock bearings. (assuming you can remove them without damage...)

Up to you, but the overhaul kit is generally the better way to go.

Had the same question for David the other day. Great customer service. Will be ordering the overhaul kit with a lift in the next week or so
