I have enough to by JCR front bumper and Recon winch or enough to get just a rear JCR bumper with tire carrier. I do not wheelto much now, but am trying to get set up when i can, like all of us.

I had the same dilemma and went for the tire carrier first. I didn't want to hang the heavy 35 on the tailgate. If you're not wheeling much now, you probably wouldn't use the winch much anyway. However, driving everyday with a larger spare on the stock carrier, has proven to lead to problems. They will be opinions either way, pros and cons to each, but I would say do the rear first.

Default carrier

I don't 'wheel too often, and wanted the tire and tailgate to open as one.

Check out the TeraFlex option. I installed it Friday, and it's awesome.

I agree, i'd go rear first. If you are not wheeling too much now, more than likely when you decide to, you will be with others with a winch.

The teraflex option is awesome. I have the or-fab and it is not bad, but wish I had gone with the teraflex carrier.

Sorry I couldn't resist. I went with the front bumper first and ride with no spare. You can always plug, patch or fixaflat. Or carry the spare in the back of the jeep if you wanted. And don't forget about AAA.

NO, as of a week ago it was the Smittybilt SCR front and XRC for the rear. But, looks like a better deal and less weight with the JCR. Looks like I will go with a rear bumper first.
