Default Coilover question.

Hey guys ill keep this short and thanks in advance for your help. I can oh currently afford the Evo bolt on front coilovers system and not the rear. Would it be dumb to get only the fronts and rear later if at all. I am running the Full Traction 3" ultimate lift right now and would like to be able to go a little faster over the whoops in the desert

I bought the front EVO coilovers first and rode with regular coils in the rears for a month, it'll work but the rears dont keep up with the coilovers in the front. Your front end would soak up all the bumps but the rears would be all over the trail if you were going fast, especially on curvy trails. I have tested the front and rear coilovers at 45-60 mph on open fields with lots of bumps, ruts, mud holes. The rear coilovers definitely soaked up the bumps but bottomed out a couple times so they would also need air bumps.

Default Sure can....

Like inspect-a-home said, you can. It doesn't get advertised much, but many guys can only afford half of the coilover set-up. Other than only getting half of the obvious benefits, there is nothing wrong with piecing it together as you can afford. If you know its something you not only want, but will truly use, do it man! Pull the trigger

i only run the fronts, i had coil over in the rear and took them off and put my springs back in. coil overs in the rear just had to much flex. takes away the fun of all the local easier trails that u do more often. there great for JV, rubicon, and moab.

It will work good. As mentioned the rear will not be able to keep up with the front
