Default Coilover + Hydrolic Bump Adjustment

So with my front now completed, I have my EVO King setup (coilovers and hydronic bumps) complete with my PR44u all installed.

I have a question on bumpstop adjustment. The extensions I received with both the EVO and KING kit are 3" blocks. I have the Coilovers adjusted to about. 3"-3.5" lift (1" from the top)

Has anyone seen where with the 3" blocks installed, this is efficient to stuff the tires up as high as possible? Or do they need to be shaved down?

Currently I still have the Dynatrac original bumps still on...thanks for any advice!

Depends on your tire size and fenders and such also.. The stops prevent tire from hitting body, axle hitting frame, and bottoming out shocks. They need to be set based on all of those.

Yes, I know, and I am running 37s. Just wondering what people's experience has been in the past.

Those bumpstop extensions are generic to keep the recommended tire size off of stock flares. It honestly doesn't matter what another person's experience is, your setup will vary and that's what Maertz was trying to get at. Go find a deep ditch and hit it at 45*, that should help you find how much bump you need. The forklift is good for theory but in reality your rear end typically isn't flat when your front is torqued over.

Why not go off of your set up then and not other people's?

Seems to me that with 37's and flat flares most people run 2.5"-3.0" front Bumpstops. As long as the prorock housing has the all the mounts in stock locations, which I believe it does, then 3" bumpstop should be close. At least close enough to hold you until you can get it all together and flex it out for that last 1/2" adjustment you might want to make.

Like others have mentioned, test your rig and figure out what is needed for YOUR setup.

From what I see you have the Evo front bolt on coilovers. The air bumps only take place of your factory mounts, nothing changes on the body side if the directions were followed correctly on install. As for bump stops you should still use the supplied bump stops that came with your Evo coilover kit. The kit isn't designed to have much up travel but more down travel

This is my setup. It will vary for you on lift height. I'm running about 4.5in of lift
