Default Coast 1310 issue ?

Just installed my coast shafts, and is seems like the rear shaft is extended a lil farther than it should be. There is still about 2 inches of spline inside. I have the Rk 3.5 x factor so my rear axle is moved back about an inch... It drives good without any vibes. Anybody think this will be an issue ?

coast purposefully make their shafts with a long slip shaft. if you still have 2" inside, you should be fine. as your axle droops, your shaft contracts.

Does the instructions tell you what length you should make the shaft for how much lift you have?

Could you have possibly got one for a 2 door?

no way. the size difference is huge. the 2-door rear shafts are tiny by comparison. the extra inch he has from pushing the axle back is directly resulting in what you see.
