Default Clearance issue with 2012 and Fox shocks

Ran into a problem when I tried to install these rear Fox shocks. The small elbow fitting on the top of the shock that is for the hose running to the reservoir is hitting the shock mount. It's essentially right up against it.

I really have 3 options at this point:

1) Cut/Grind a slot in the top shock mount for clearance on the valve (hard to do up in there)

2) remove the bar pins in the Fox shocks and use a bar-pin eliminator (i.e. JKS) that will lower the mounting position enough to clear.

3) Get some 1/4" spacers and slightly longer shock bolts and place the spacers on top of the Fox bar-pin, thus pushing the shock body and valve down slightly and giving a little clearance.

Thoughts?
