Default Clear coat recomendation for glossy smoked lights?

Can anyone recommend a very glossy clear coat to spray on top of VHT nightshades? I hate to start a new thread for this but I looked hard and couldn't find an answer with a rattle can.

This is gonna sound stupid, I've never polished anything in my life. Would you mind telling me how you did it?

Subscribed as I'll be doing this soon and want some gloss. I've also never polished anything.

I've been looking on google a lot and finally found a very good write up on a mustang forum. I don't think the type of clear coat matters a lot. Something for outdoor plastic. I used rust-oleum paint for plastic. I polished the lens for a half hour with a rag. I occasionally applied more product then just wiped off the haze with a clean rag at the end. I kinda used some firm pressure. The polished one is smoother and reflects light more. Let me know if you have any other questions.
