Hello. The driveshaft thing can be simple or complicated depending on who and how you ask this question.

(Simple) We have installed our 3.5" kits on both 2 dr, 4 dr, auto or manual, and you can drive them all down the highway without any issues.

(Complicated) So lets start with the front.

If you have a automatic, the driveshaft will rub the side of the transmission pan and cause the boot to get ripped. This will lead to driveshaft failure years down the road.

If you have an auto or manual, this front driveshaft will be over worked with the amount of flex you get. So depending on how many times you fully flex this driveshaft, you could get a couple years out of it, or a few months. From what I have seen it does not just fail. You will rip teh CV boot at the t-case, which will ultimately leed to failure.

The rear you can use the stock shaft both on a 2 dr and 4 dr. With the 2 dr you might get minor driveline vibrations, 4 dr very unlikely. With the 2 dr, similar to the front you will most likely over flex that driveshaft and this will cause it to fail sooner then later. On a 4 dr, this drivehshaft is so long its unlikely.

However the stock driveshafts are thin walled and reliy on the outer diameter for their strength. So denting them if fairly easy.

So our recomendation is to expect to upgrade the driveshafts at some point depending on how often you wheel and how you wheel.
