That's what I used too but they aren't very bright. Mostly just to make the point you still have side marker lights. Somewhat of a moral, rather than functional victory.

Sorry, just saw your post... here are some more close up pics. As for the lights, they are the dual LED lights from Genright. I just spliced them onto the factory wires and ran them through the fender (over the inner, under the outer). Bought some small L shaped brackets from Lowe's and used zip ties to mount them onto the inner fender after I drilled a couple small holes. Had to cut a couple small notches on the inner fender to run the wire. If it pinches between the fender and body, they'll short out. And they are pretty dang bright.

JDub, that set up is pretty sweet! So far, from what I've seen I'll probably shoot for doing something very similar with your flare lights. Props man! Looks like you showed how much of the buschwacker flat flares are a rip off since it looks like the only piece you bought was that little L mount and the 2 LED lights.
Brackets + 2 LED lights < buschwacker flat flares!
