I'm sure there's 100 posts on this, but does anyone have a set or know someone that can chop the original flares or have a set they'd be willing to sell. I'm afraid to chop them on my own. I posted in the wanted section as well and I'm hoping to find someone that can help.
Thanks,
Matt

It's really easy. Did mine this past Sunday with a Drexel and air cut off wheel. Just takes a long time to make straight lines. But the fender trim helps cover up some of the wiggly.

I was afraid to cut mine. It's really not hard. Just follow the vids on youtube.
I actually marketed away from where I wanted to cut expecting mistakes. Well, that really wasn't the case. I ended up with more flare than I wanted, but actually really like the way they came out.
There is small waves which can be easily sanded. Still haven't finished and added the door trim.
Honestly .... I think it looks just fine and might just leave be.

Man it's super easy to do, especially with plastic fenders. I've cut 3 sets. As said before, you can take as nasty as a hack you want, and then just smooth it out with sandpaper/ flapdisk. You can always just cut them wide and take more off and reshape them as you see fit. Here's two different ways I've had mine cut

Another good step-by-step.

In case whoever you pay to do this easy task decides to remove the flares before cutting.

It's time to get familiar with 'your' jeep...
There are plenty of pics of the different cut styles to look at. Find the one you like, grab a roll of tape, and go mark them off to see what you think. As you stand there looking at them with the cut locations marked, you just might start to realize that it really isn't that big of a deal. ANY mistake you make can be pretty easily corrected by taking a tiny bit more off.
