Yea, just get some door trim. It comes self-adhesive, they put a little bit of glue on the inside and all you do is press it over the edges of the flares. Got mine at Autozone. They stay on really good also, car wash and all they stayed put. Only once did they start to come off just a little when it was like 100 degrees out in the summer....i just pushed them back on tho and they stuck again.

Maybe just me, i have tried the door trim. I cleaned and prepped my surface, installed. The glue on the inside of these things sucks. Its good advice to put more glue on them^^^^^^^^^^^

The door trim just peels off and leaves a grimy sticky mess behind, from road juice, mud, etc.

I trimmed a whole new set of fenders this time around. Total approach was different. Took my sweet and Mary on this set. Cut and sanded into shape, the door trim will not be needed at all.

On the jeep now, i still have the original cut fenders. After winter is through, i can't wait to get them off

I have been chicken shit too for that past 2-3 weeks. My son has been bugging me to do it. I have 1" body lift, 34's on 17" wheels and am afraid they will look dwarfed. I have taped one off but still can't really picture it. Everyone's pics look great but they are runnin' 35's to 37's in the pics. What to do.....

Once I start, there is to going back either. What do a set of stock 2007 fenders cost in case I want to go back?
I used a jig saw on the flares and sectioned the front and rear bumpers then plastic welded the seams from the back side. We are currently running 285/70-17 cooper SST tires with no lift. I have a ton more pics. Pm me if u want to c more.

Thanks, I've seen some guys on here make the stock fogs work without the plastic, I just think it looks less naked with the lights mounted on top.

I finally got it done this weekend. Not quite done. Still debating whether or not to put the orange led running lights.
