Default Cherry bomb exhaust?

I have a new 07 jk 2 door, I want a nice exhaust with the best performance and sound. All the other exhausts I listen too sounds like a mix of a ricer and a mac truck. I was wondering if a cherry bomb would work, I like their glass packs but the jeep needs two inlets and one outlet, the glasspack is straight though. Could I just buy 2 and bring them to a muffler shop and have them costum install duel exhaust? Or does cherry bomb make what im looking for? Thanks guys, and if you have any other suggestions let me know! Thanks!

I don't think that dual exhaust will provide the best performance for the JK. There has been a dyno test done by someone on this board with numbers that reflect this. The 2-into-1 exhaust setup allows for more "scavaging." There's a long theory behind it, but with the low output of the 3.8, you maintain a higher velocity of your exhaust gases with this setup. That leads to marginally higher output. Good luck with your decision, but I don't think I would go with glass packs.

ok then what exhaust do you suggest? I need one with duel inlets one outlet right? Because its a v6 instead of the I-6? I could be wrong though.

i personally would keep your jeep stock exhaust or at least somewhat quiet , alot of trail places don't want loud jeeps after dark.

No the two merge into one two inch pipe. I run the Magnaflow system with single outlet and love it. Do a search and you will find numerous topics covering your question.

2.5 inch pipe, you can run single inlet single out, dual inlet dual out, or any combination you choose. It just depends on where you cut the stock exhaust (before or after the Y pipe).

I personaly want to try a Flowmaster 50 series. there is someone one here with one who really liked it, but I haven't actually heard one. It should be quiet on the inside, but with a slightly more aggressive low sound outside. Single offset inlet, single center outlet. I would put it inline like others here have done.

The problem is with the 2 door, I dont think the magnaflow will fit. It will be right up next to the black box. I think kevin2236 is trying to find a narrower exhaust to accomodate that..............

I just want something with the best sound a most gains, I have an exhaust shop that carries magnaflow, so maybe I should just bring it to them and see what they have?

I haven't looked under a 2 door, but you would think that you could put either the cylinder muffler in there or remount the black box where the old muffler used to be.
