I think you will be happier with the 35x12.5 in the long run I got mine installed for 300 per tire
Also a 9" wheel is wide for either of the metric sizes you mentioned

That will work... just a little narrower... it's really what you think. Me, I prefer the 12.50" wide tires but it's a preference thing. All other performance should be very similar.
