Default Check Engine after Exhaust adjustment

I installed my magnaflow cat-back a few weeks ago. Recently, I noticed that there was a whisper at one of the connections so I threw it up on the lift today to adjust it. I made the adjustment so, no more whisper. I started it up after taking it off the lift and my check-engine light is now on.

Any ideas what the issue could possibly be? I'll be bringing in this week for service anyway so I'll have them diagnose it. I did the on-off-on-off-on thing to see the codes and it ran clean.

Thanks.

Is it possible you knocked one of the sensor wires off of the cats, while you were working?

Hmmm... not sure. I guess I'll have to look.

Thanks for the tip.

Drove into work this morning and the check-engine light was gone.

Perhaps this was a false light? Since the light is gone, is this something that I should concern myself with? If they plug it in at the dealer later this week, will this show up in the diagnostics?

Thanks.

Is it possible the check engine light was from something else like a loose gas cap?

If so, I should've seen that sooner. I got gas then drove 100+ miles with a few on/off cycles. I didn't see the amber light until after adjusting the exhaust. I drove about 75+ miles home last night with the amber with about 5 or so on/off cycles. When I fired it up this morning, no amber.

Not sure the check engine light has anything to do with this now. I was outside hanging Christmas lights yesterday, listening to Sirius. (about an 2 hours) When I went to start it up, there was a long crank time before it started. Then after that there was the red light on the dash (Electronic Throttle Control Warning Light) and now the check engine light is on again. The red light went off after I cycled on/off but then check engine is still on.

**Edit** When I do the on/off/on/off/on process to see error codes, I get nothing.

Any ideas?
